One detail I will probably avoid reproducing is the array of six screws that hold down the torso hook in the original robot. It looks a bit messy to me.

TORSO HOOKS
In any event, these hooks are marvelous. The only detail they lacked was the delicate rounding of the corners. I achieved the rounding by sanding by hand with emery paper.
Look at the torso hook in the following photograph of the original robot
to see the nice rounding of the corners.
