There seem to be as many ways of
mounting the backplate as there are robots. My mounting method is a modified
version of Mike Joyce's. Two bolts suspended from the upper rim of the
torso (attached to the torso using the Reinbrecht method) hold the backplate
from above. A bracket that I fashioned out of plumbers tape (my favourite
robot building product) support the weight of the backplate and keep it
snugly in position.
