The Acrylic Programming Panel Vent Shoots Out!

We have all marveled at the scene in the second-season episode "Revolt of the Androids" where a rib from the robot's collar breaks off and flies through the air after an android karate chops him in this delicate spot:

You can see the rib flying behind the robot. It is the white line midway between the robot's left shoulder and the android's chest.

What you may not have noticed is that in the very next scene, the acrylic programming panel vent falls out of the robot. Could this too have been a result of the android's excessive force? No surviving footage show the android hitting the robot in this area, but perhaps the earlier blows to the back of the torso were sufficient to dislodge the vent.
