Waist Plate and Donut Assembly

Top plate (used to provide a support platform for various and sundry
mechanisms and machines that will be housed in the torso)
The only work they required was the drilling of holes for the bolts that hold the parts together and the machining out of circular plate from the waist plate to allow space for the motor that will turn the torso. Thanks to Gwen's great design, this part of the robot was a snap to finish.
