JANUARY 2003 PROGRESS REPORT
Waist Plate and Donut Assembly
Finished at Last!

These parts were manufactured by Gwen Meunier out of aluminum. The consist of:

Waist plate
Donut
Lazy Susan
Top plate (used to provide a support platform for various and sundry mechanisms and machines that will be housed in the torso)

 The only work they required was the drilling of holes for the bolts that hold the parts together and the machining out of circular plate from the waist plate to allow space for the motor that will turn the torso. Thanks to Gwen's great design, this part of the robot was a snap to finish.
